Susan Njeri is a very calm, modest and focused business woman who has her hands on a variety of businesses. She has run a mini-supermarket in Molo’s Keep-Left Bus Park for the last sixteen years and is well known in the area where her shop is situated for her home is right behind it. The shop stocks all the fast moving goods that her customers demand and in their various quantities. Susan runs the shop herself but has created employment for many in the other sectors of her businesses.
Besides the mini-supermarket, Susan and her husband have set up a mini sized hotel, inclusive of a full-fledged restaurant, lounge and accommodation units. They have created employment for a total of fifteen people in the various departments of the hotel. In addition, they are putting up rental units on the same plot of land and have five construction workers working on the site daily. It brings her so much joy being able to help the people they have created employment for provide for their own families.
Susan received a $1,500 loan from Moto Hope Micro Lending in January 2020 which she injected into her business. With the money she was able to boost the stock of her mini-supermarket as well as the stock of dry foodstuff in the restaurant. All of her businesses are co-dependent and it is important that they are all stable and bring in the target profits. Besides, Susan has her eyes on a plot of land in Molo’s New Location area and will only be able to finish facilitating full payment for it with profit earnings from her businesses.
She is not new to Moto Hope for she has had her mini-supermarket funded three times in the past to a tune of $1800. The low interest rates and great repayment plans coupled with the great customer service is what keeps her going back to Moto Hope Micro Lending she says gratefully. She and her husband, a teacher have three school going children (One in fourth year of university, the other two in high school; fourth and first forms ) and are happy that their businesses enable them to provide the best education for their children.
