Moto Hope Savings and Credit Co-operative Society (Moto Hope SACCO) is a branch of Moto Hope Micro-Lending.
It endeavors to provide its members in the rural areas with the financial muscle necessary to ensure their prosperity and economic sustainability. It is increasingly difficult for the informal sector and the unbanked to access loans from banks in Kenya which have high and fluctuating interest rates and many hidden costs. We provide friendly and easily accessible savings and credit facilities to our members. At the moment we issue loans at 1% per month interest rate.
Plans are underway to facilitate member investment opportunities, lowered insurance premiums (Pension Plan Scheme for the informal sector) and exciting partner discounts. Women, youth and Small and Medium Enterprises in Nakuru county (Molo and its environs) as well as Uasin Gishu County ( the wider Kitale region) have been our major beneficiaries. Moto Hope SACCO: Transforming society through provision of affordable financial solutions to the unbanked.
