Mary Hinga is the doting mother of six grown children who have already left home and have their own separate lives and families. Even so, she has not abandoned her mother role and steps in to help them whenever they need her to. Her home which sits adjacent to ten rental units that she owns is very well kempt and her tenants have no qualms about following her example. The rental units fetch her $15 dollars each, every month.
Her retail kiosk is also housed by one of her buildings saving her on rental expenses. The proximity of the kiosk to her own house enables her to serve her customers more efficiently for some are even able to access her at her house on occasions that she is not in the kiosk. It has helped kill loneliness and boredom seeing as she lives alone beside fetching her some income.
The rental income and profits from her kiosk have in the recent past provided her with capital for her agribusiness ventures. She is a small holder farmer growing potatoes and green peas for sale on a one acre piece of land. The planting season is fast approaching and her farm is already tilled awaiting the rains.
She was introduced to Moto Hope Micro Lending by one of her kiosk customers who strongly advised her to seek MHML out in order to put the kiosk whose stock and profits were rapidly dwindling. The customer, a beneficiary of MHML convinced her by her own second hand clothes business testimony that MHML put back into business.
Mary is seeking $300 from MHML to be able to purchase more stock for her kiosk as well as afford good quality seeds and fertilizer for her farm this planting season.
