Ezekiel Kimani is an artist who makes and distributes artifacts in various towns. He is a father of two and the wife is a teacher in Murang’a town which is about 30 miles from Nairobi. Being an orphan, Ezekiel was raised by well wishers in the community who supported him to pursue his goals and ambitions. Ezekiel has a workshop where he makes his items for distribution. He uses mainly social media to market his products and this has enabled him to distribute to many towns in Kenya. Since art is a skill, his business is unique because there are very few entrants.
Ezekiel needs a loan of $380 to enable him buy raw materials. The loan will help his business grow significantly since he doesn’t have to wait for sale proceeds in order to be able to purchase the materials. Currently he has to wait until he is paid up before he can order for the raw materials.
After running his business for eight years, Ezekiel believes its time to move on to the next level. If all goes as expected, he intends to open a curio shop in Thika town.
