Business: Motorcycle Spare parts & MPESA Agency.
Location: Keep-left, Molo
Years in Operation: 9 months
Amount needed : $100

Euniece Wanja is a hardworking single mother of two school going children who she raises with the proceeds from her Motor-cycle spare parts and MPESA Agency businesses. There is a growing need for motorcycle spare parts throughout the whole country as many people, both young and old have taken up motor cycle operating businesses to fend for themselves.

Her shop is strategically located close to the busy Molo-Olenguruone Road and next to Equity bank’s motorcycle operator’s stage in Keep-Left bus park area of Molo town. The motor-cycle operators commonly known as bodabodas are her main market. She tries to be as competitive as possible by selling at affordable prices and dealing with affordable suppliers from the industrial areas of Molo and Nakuru towns. She has grown a loyal clientele who place orders even for parts she may not have in stock at the time of order and allow her time to order and deliver.

Her spare parts and mobile money businesses are perfectly complimentary as most of her clients buy and use both products and service. The commissions of her MPESA Agency enable her to cater for the rent of her premise as well as other expenditures in the business while the profits of her spare parts business enable her to provide for the school fess of her two children as well as their basic needs.

She is seeking $100 from Moto Hope Micro-Lending to be able to boost her business by increasing the stock of the small but fast moving spare parts that her clients demand most. With the money she will meet their demand and thus keep her business afloat.
