Business: Beauty Salon.
Location:
Tayari, Molo.
Years in Operation:
3Years.
Amount needed:
$250.

Confrida’s salon is a buzz of activity as her customers patiently await their turn on her seat. She is busy entertaining them with stories, finding out how they are doing, as her hands work their magic on the customer whose hair she is meticulously working on. So much so no one gets impatient enough to walk out to the next salon. She prides herself in her inborn skills  for she is  a very gifted hair dresser, yet has not stopped learning new styles and bettering her art, each passing day.

She has had her salon in Tayari for the last three years and is encouraged by how quickly her business picked up. She has a wide array of customers , from toddlers, school going children as well as adults. Her customers acclaim how she gently and painlessly handles hair as well as  her honesty. She never tries hair styles she is not sure she can manage. Customer referrals are her selling point for her work speaks for her , she says happily.

Her husband is a stone quarry worker in Molo’s Highland Quarry and she is able to supplement his earnings from her salon for their family’s needs as well as the school fees of their child in school. For this reason, she desires nothing better than seeing her business’ growth.

She is seeking $250 from Moto Hope Micro Lending in order to beef up the stock of beauty products that she sells at her salon. Her goal is to have her salon be the one stop place for all the basic hair and beauty products so her customers can get everything under one roof. This way she will be able to retain them as well as attract more. With the funds, she will also afford quality and a variety of hair products that her customers have in the recent past demanded but lacked at her salon.
