Abel Gitongo is a hardworking young man who is willing to try his hands on entrepreneurial ventures that will give his young family of one wife and a toddler a good life and secure future. Seven months ago, Abel set up a retail shop with the intention of spreading risks and increasing his earnings. He also practices small scale agribusiness from which he was able to get the starting capital for his shop. When he is on the farm tending it,or in the market selling the Irish potatoes from his farm, his wife takes charge of the shop.
He is seeking $100 to increase the stock of his shop. The seven months in business have allowed them ample time to learn their market and know their customers. Abel says he wants to expand this business to be able to meet all the demand they face and win more customer, especially those who don’t come to his shop because of the limited choices he currently offers.
