Father Francis a Catholic Priest with great passion for Education and Community Empowerment of young people and women especially in poor urban and rural areas like where he grew up in Kenya. He has a background in Philosophy, Religious Studies training and holds a M.A in Divinity from St. Thomas University and M.A. in Philanthropy and Development from St. Mary University both in Minnesota. He has certification as a Spiritual Director and serves as a pastor in Duluth MN.

Keith Sechler: Co-Founder-Cleveland, USA

Keith is a financial planner from Cleveland in Ohio USA and he is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner managing his own financial planning firm in Cleveland. Keith has a great passion for empowering entrepreneurs through micro-loans. He first visited Kenya in January 2015 together with a team from Minnesota and he was able to meet some of the beneficiaries of the program.

Sandy Baldwin:Co-founder Minnesota, USA

Sandy Baldwin has traveled throughout the world and is eager to share the story of Moto Hope Mission with others. She first traveled to Africa in 2006 with Catholic Relief Services. She combines experiences of Africa with a rich understanding of the culture and people of Kenya. Her passion for life and her enthusiasm for Saint Francis Academy fuel her passion for humanitarian aid. Sandy has a B.A. in Education and M.A. in Theology. She has 30 years’ experience working in Catholic Education and Ministry. She has co-lead two trips to Tanzania with high school students. She has facilitated service workshops and leadership seminars. As Co-Founder and Director of Missions for Moto Hope she creates a positive, worthwhile service experience. She co-leads the delegation to Kenya every year.

Vincent Kiarie: Director-Nairobi, Kenya

Vincent holds a Masters degree in Banking and Finance from Catholic University of Milan, Italy. He also graduated from Kabarak University (Kenya) where he studied Finance. He is currently pursuing accelerator program from Santa Clara University based at Silicon Valley in USA. Vincent has represented Moto Hope in social entrepreneurship competition organized by E4IMPACT of Catholic University of Milan where Moto Hope emerged 2nd best in business category. He also participated in the SLUSH 2017 competition held at ihub Kenya.  His previous experience include: working with AISEC Milan where he was involved in a number of projects pitched by entrepreneurs for a duration of one and half years. He has also worked with a local tier 1 bank in Kenya for two years. His exposure in projects coupled with banking experience enabled him to kick start the micro lending program which has received many accolades since its inception. Vincent has also been instrumental in establishing Moto Hope Savings and Credit Co-operative Society(SACCO) which facilitates savings from members in the rural areas.

Dominic Njuguna Ndung'u: Legal Adviser

Dominic Njuguna Ndung’u is a Makerere University trained lawyer. He is currently practicing with Archer & Wilcock Advocates as a Litigation Associate.

Dominic specializes in civil litigation, criminal litigation, commercial law, drafting contracts and dispute resolution. He has represented clients before various Kenyan courts and statutory tribunals.

Before joining Archer & Wilcock Advocates, Dominic was a Legal Assistant at Salama Fikira Group Limited where he got the experience of reviewing and drafting maritime contracts, Special Investigation contracts, Services Agreements, employment contracts and company policies.

Dominic is the Kenyan National Administrator for Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition; a law students competition attended by over 500 law schools sponsored by International Law Student Association and White & Case LLP.
